Every casino on CasinoCodex receives a Trust Score out of 100. This score is designed to give you an instant, reliable snapshot of how safe and trustworthy a casino is. Here's exactly how we calculate it.
Scoring Categories
Our Trust Score is composed of five weighted categories:
1. Licensing & Regulation (30 points)
This is the single most important factor. We verify each casino's licensing claims directly with regulatory authorities.
- Tier 1 licenses (MGA, UKGC, Gibraltar, Isle of Man): Maximum points
- Tier 2 licenses (Kahnawake, Alderney, Estonia): Moderate points
- Tier 3 licenses (Curaçao, Anjouan): Lower points
- No license / Unverifiable: Zero points — and an automatic warning flag
2. Financial Security (25 points)
We evaluate the casino's financial practices including:
